Squier is proud to introduce two exciting new versions of classic Telecaster models in early 2010, both of which deliver great Squier look, sound, feel and value.

The two latest additions to the award-winning and best-selling Classic Vibe series—the Classic Vibe Telecaster Custom and Classic Vibe Telecaster Thinline guitars—are based on a pair of classic Telecaster designs from the 1960s that were prized among rock, blues, country and jazz players alike.

The Classic Vibe Telecaster Custom is a beautiful Three-Color Sunburst model with a double-bound alder body, vintage-tint gloss maple neck with 9.5"-radius rosewood fingerboard and 21 medium jumbo frets, custom alnico V single-coil pickups, mint-green pickguard, three-saddle bridge with threaded saddles, vintage-style tuners.

The Classic Vibe Telecaster Thinline boasts a classic semi-hollow design in a rich natural-finish mahogany body with an f-hole and white pearloid pickguard. Other features include a gloss maple neck with 9.5"-radius fingerboard and 21 medium jumbo frets, custom alnico V single-coil pickups, three-saddle bridge and vintage-style tuners.

I have no idea who Biffy Clyro is, but I'vee sen the Fiesta CV on the squier site... too bad they won't sell this model on this side of the pond because that's a fantastic colour on a strat.

ah, that's a shame. the fact it's a sig puts me off, that and the fact it's a strat. still, fiesta red though. it looks amazing.

This is such bullshit. I hate Squier. I hate Classic Vibes.

Now I have to decide between the '50s Telecaster and the Custom Telecaster. Damn them.

whelp, it looks like classic vibe has now moved into the spot formerly occupied by MIM. I'm not even sure where MIM stands anymore.

Not expensive. By the time they get over here they'll be that much in pounds (i.e. twice as much). THAT is expensive.

Still, better than a Fender that costs £200 more.

that's only 30 more than the normal classic vibe tele and still 120 less than a standard mexi which it blows away...

I have to say, even though I thought I was done with any more 6 strings, I can see myself asking for that '62 for christmas or my next birthday.

This makes me feel it's possible that they will release a CV Jaguar and a CV Mustang sometime soon, if not a MV(Modern Vibe, reissues of recently produced guitars) Jag-stang, cyclone, and guitars from the vista series. Although that last Idea seems pretty farfetched, this is Squier, so it may just happen.

Didn't realise they were out in the UK yet? After recent amp purchase I need to get the cash together but definitely on the shopping list
