GFS Premium Alnico Strat Pickups anyone?

Post by lank81 »

Hi All,
Does anyone have a set of these in their strat? They sound good on clips and youtube but was wondering if anyone has personally tried them out? Let me know.

Thanks

Yeah they're okay cheap strat pickups. Don't believe the puff on their site, but for the money they're good value.

yea. what he said. they're good enough pickups. the guy talks a lot of bullshit hype though. it's really unnecessary, I wish he would just give you the straight details of each pickup so you can compare them.

Yea, I'll probably just go with the Custom Shop 69s I've been eye'n up instead of going the GFS route but I do like the P-90s they have available. I'll put those in my Jag HH one day.
