I finally got to open up the Jagmaster tonight. The main ground wire from pot to the Spring claw had come loose. I soldered it back in place. I also noticed that there was no ground to the switch. I grounded the switch and the noise is gone. Unfortunately, the ground to the switch came loose during reassembly, so I had to resolder to the pot again. I restrung the guitar with .11s and adjusted the neck to compensate for the thicker strings. Sounds fantastic. Only problem I still have to solve is a widening crack in front of the post that the bridge sits against. If it breaks it could pose disaster for me. I may take it to a tech for this one. Thanks for your advice and help fixing my Jagmaster. This is what makes Shortscale a cool place to be a part of.
