Yeah Jagmaster II neck is not a true 24" scale.TieDye wrote:That's a great idea. Does it intonate correctly?

Yes, I had a jagmaster and it was 24" scale.

That's a bit odd, the true scale of a jagmaster II is 25.5", the neck is a conversion 24" neck from that scale. I'm not sure where 24 3/4" scale comes into the picture.TieDye wrote:Yes, I had a jagmaster and it was 24 3/4" scale.

The jagmaster I'm talking about are the new ones you can find at Guitar Center. I measured mine and it was 24" from nut to saddles.

Aye. You might want to re-mesure that. There have been three evolutions of the Jagmaster. The original Vista was a true 24" scale. Then the next Jagmaster was a 25.5" The newest jagmaster, which I have had one of, is the body as the last model but with a conversion 24" scale neck to adjust the 25.5" scale body. Both the fender specs on their webpage and my own measurements when I had one confirm the scale as 24". I ended up using the neck on a MIM duo-sonic (which is also a conversion from 25.5") so I had to be sure of scales matching up before I transplanted it.TieDye wrote:The jagmaster I'm talking about are the new ones you can find at Guitar Center. That'd be the one.TieDye wrote:I just remeasured. It is 24" scale. I was thinking wrong. It's my sunburst cyclone that's 24 3/4". Sorry.
