Guitars you want that you will realistically own one day

tele-fucking-caster.
jesus christ. i have wanted one since 2006 but i keep getting thrown curve balls.
i mean the curve balls have been in the shape of a jaguar, a mustang and a jazzmaster so they could be worse curve balls.
one day i'm just going to march into the nearest shop and walk out with a classic vibe.

After playing an american deluxe ash strat at the store a few weeks back I have started saving for that. Unfortunately for me the one I did play Fender got rid of that color which kinda sucks but still I am hopefully gonna have one at some point. I wish I could have just walked out with it, just stuck if under my hoodie.

This is difficult, i kind of hit my jackpot with the 64 Jag and 65 Mustang, the Lindert was another one...
Stuff i would like;
Gibson Non Reverse Firebird- Never gonna happen, way too pricey.
Gibson LP Junior DC- I had a red model but always fancied a TV yellow.
Hallmark Sheena- The closest you can get to a Mosrite MKII for under £2,000.
Patrick Eggle Berlin Stage- Had one about 15 years ago, sold it, nothing has matched it since.
Hayman Phase?- Always liked the look of these, plus its an old British built guitar.
Fender Performer- Always been curious, saw one in like a Ocean Turq color that looked amazing.
G&L ASAT Special Like Drasps, just looks awesome.
I'd also like a high end 335, does'nt have to be Gibson.

I love those halmark guitars... but I'd go for the "60s Custom" or the "Road to Ruin"Fran wrote:This is difficult, i kind of hit my jackpot with the 64 Jag and 65 Mustang, the Lindert was another one...

ric 12 string
Jazzmaster.
I have owned almost everything else I would ever want... Myabe a mustang if I found a vintage one....
Also, a higher end taylor or Martin acoustic. I am oredering one this week, btu probably not really high end, but about 1K USD.

They say great minds think alike....Sometimes we do too...
this totally. I gave up on it a long time ago however. I'm not even actively trying to get a jazzmaster. but it would be nice. some day I probably will.Noirie. wrote:
A CIJ candy apple red Jazzie with torty. I almost got one but i went with a Jag in the end.
One day it will happen...
oh and, a single cutaway hollow body of some sort as well. I'm still not sure what I'm looking for exactly. like something poison ivy would play. I don't need it per se but someday I might get one.
also, it would be fun to build a tele blackguard replica.
cogito ergo sum...thing or other...
I keep toying with getting a natural or tear-drop sunburst Epiphone Casino.
Like yay:
Or:
You can get them for around $450 pretty regularly. IDK, I just haven't gotten around to it. They feel great, look great, sound great. There's also a slight extra cost/hassle because I'd want to add a dummy coil or get hum-cancelling PUPs. IDK. Maybe someday I'll just do it.
I'm sure I'll also get a '55 or '56 Danelectro U1 Peanut body:

New thunderbird (either an epi pro or a gibson)
The one p-bass that I actually like from the local music shop back home
Jaguar Bass
Ripper
Baja Tele
Maybe a ric 4001
Stingray
Mostly basses. I kinda good with my guitars right now.
nah, y'know, one day I'll have myself a full on Gibson SG, and then continue to mod the fuck out of my epi.

I've quite fancied a Creston contoured tele for a while. Really nice work, not too cheap though.hotrodperlmutter wrote:- telecaster with contours (seems i will have to build my own)
