It's appropriate that a guitar made by Gibson should have a price with a satanic connection.
Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player, that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more; it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

I was thinking about my old Smithy today, was down near my mates where it resides, still tempted to buy it back. But i told myself you can only go forwards and to forget about it.
That particular one was one of the higher end explorer models with binding and stuff, it was my first 'real' guitar so it has sentimental value. I did later have a GS1.5 DC though, that i also sold. *sigh*
Imma gonna wait for them to go on sale and then buy I think... we'll see if I can wait. I also really want a used late 90s American made Gretsch G6128T Duo Jet with a Bigsby, that has to come first.

yeah, they look nice and slightly different from the 'norm'... they sound great too... my favorite sounding humbuckers ever I think... well out of the ones I've had over the years anyway.

It is a little, no worse than any SG I've played though. I'd never played a V before I bought this one, I just wanted another Gordon Smith and this one came up on ebay for a decent price so I grabbed it... I was really suprised how nice it is to play, I prefer it to the GS2 now.
