pretty cool if you're looking for a new slide guitar. i've got the epiphone version, and with that factory bridge, that's all it's good for.

It's appropriate that a guitar made by Gibson should have a price with a satanic connection.
Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player, that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more; it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

i'd probably go for a gordon smith before i went for that but it does look rather tasty.

Even the price is rock & roll, I like it!

I was thinking about my old Smithy today, was down near my mates where it resides, still tempted to buy it back. But i told myself you can only go forwards and to forget about it.

That particular one was one of the higher end explorer models with binding and stuff, it was my first 'real' guitar so it has sentimental value. I did later have a GS1.5 DC though, that i also sold. *sigh*

Back in the day Reece...

I think those tv yellow Jr.s are some of the classiest looking guitars gibson has ever made.

Imagine it in a green antigua finish ((drool))

Imma gonna wait for them to go on sale and then buy I think... we'll see if I can wait. I also really want a used late 90s American made Gretsch G6128T Duo Jet with a Bigsby, that has to come first.

yeah, they look nice and slightly different from the 'norm'... they sound great too... my favorite sounding humbuckers ever I think... well out of the ones I've had over the years anyway.

Very nice. I nearly went for a GS V not long ago, how does it play, is it neck heavy?

It is a little, no worse than any SG I've played though. I'd never played a V before I bought this one, I just wanted another Gordon Smith and this one came up on ebay for a decent price so I grabbed it... I was really suprised how nice it is to play, I prefer it to the GS2 now.

This used to be mine. It was great. I have posted this pic purely to aggravate Fran.
