whats up with the price????

I had one of them when they first came out, I had been looking at a humbucking guitar & they seemed good for the price, think i paid £300 - £400, i got rid after a few months as it sounded a bit muddy to my ears.... not to mention to Tremonti connection.
Very well made guitar all the same, nice neck.
