I really like the Swart Atomic Space Tone, but that's a bit more than I would like to spend on an amp. I do like the classic amps, but there are a lot to choose from.
Maybe I should hold out, save up my pesos and get the Swart AST?
Nice guitar, man.
If you're looking at the Swart Atomic (6v6, tube rectified) before you plunk $900 on a 5 watt amp, you might want to look into overhauling one of the small Pepco (Pine electronics) combos from the 60's. They can generally be had for less than $200 on the used market. The configuration and features looks to be about the same as the Swarts. Of course, you'll probably have a fair bit of work to do but in the end, you'll probably save quite a bit.

+1
I see the Pine/Pepco (I think they also had a few other brand names, can't remember though) amps floating around Craigslist/ebay.ca for super cheaps all the time. Generally the speakers and cabinets are utter shit but the amplifiers are really nice fender clones (not sure exactly which Fender schematic) and they sound fantastic with proper speakers.
