I want this! Classic StingRay Bass

Post by roachello »

It was love at first sight <3

After seeing this at NAMM and trying it out firsthand, I am convinced that this bass is my soul mate:

Coral red and Mint Green look amazing! Only downside is that the guy @ NAMM said they cost $2500... is that right???

Regular Stingrays go from 1400-1800 or so. I'd say thats probably how much they'll end up going for at retail.

:? Ouch, that's almost as much as a Bass VI

... 9 year anniversary present in March? :D (Will gladly accept this bass in place of any future rings)

My bassist has a sting ray, it's fantastic. These look great with the white on white.

Though his active EQ just broke, and there are NO replacement parts online... go figure? He's taking it to an amp guy to fix.

I actually really like that. I haven't been impressed by a stingray in quite some time either. Mine has sat in it's case pretty much unused for the past 2 years. I kinda outgrew the sound of it, perhaps I just need to re-string it and give it another shot.

That top one is the nicest stingray I've seen. I have never been fond of em but I would rock that any day. Looks awesome.

I've never seen a 5-string stingray with the 4-string style pickguard before, have they done that before? All about four anyway, just noticed.

I don't think I've ever seen a StingRay that I didn't like. I love this one.
