Any Left-Handed 24"?

Post by southpaw84 »

Is anybody making 24" scale in left hand? I was excited to learn about those Ibanez Omar Rodriguez, but the only LH I saw were in the UK - nothing it seems for the colonials.

Hope you guys can point me in the right direction.

Thanks.

Not the same.

I have a Japanese Fender Jag. Not the same.

Basically, they are there if you find the ebay store that imports Japanese Fenders for retarded prices.

Otherwise, you're SOL. Like me.

Fuck I just want a Bronco.

you're best bet is probably to find a lefty-stang/duo/mm and re-do the guard, electronics, and bridge. good luck with that. . . assembling what you need for a right-handed bronco isn't exactly cheap in and of itself.

The above mentioned are as hard to find left handed.

I found a guy that will make pretty much the body I want, and I'm stoked. Decent price as well.

However, in another thread in this subforum I was trying to locate a lefty 24" neck and realized I'm fucked. They don't exist. Warmoth is the closest but they WILL NOT do a vintage 7.25" radius.

You mean bridge modification? I.e. moving it and redrilling the body? Otherwise a 24" neck won't intonate on a 25.5" body.

Jagstangs and CV Duos use 24" conversion necks, which means they'll work with a 25.5"-placed bridge. That's my understanding. Could be wrong.

CV Duos do, Jagstangs do not.

Well there you go. Southpaw, if you can rock the 9.5in radius and reverse headstock and maple fretboard, get a CV Duo neck and a 25.5" lefty body and you're all set. Heck if you can find me a 22.7 inch conversion neck you can have my 24.
