A lot of the clutter you're seeing is shadows. Its 100% fine for me, the only issue I had last night was I couldn't see me board because it was dark as hell on stage. Besides blinding lights. Basically everything was silhouetted but I was still able to find my way around it alright. Clutter has never been an issue for me, I stomp the shit out of my pedals, not my cables.

nope, i was just ordering some pots and i decided to get a bunch of random stuff while i was ordering.
i got the blue knob for the saltbooster then too. while i like the blue knob the green knobs don't look too great, i'll probably put the originals back on at some point
they're not as bright as they seem in that photo though. they look really garish there.

Sounds like we need to add some USB lights to your board Isaac.the isaac eaton wrote:A lot of the clutter you're seeing is shadows. haha... it's not that difficult to grasp....
left switch- normal clean/crunch from amp
centre switch - reverb on / off
right swtich - takes my ocd in & out of the loop, and over rides first switch.
basically it's so I can go from clean / crunch / overdrive from one click of the button, but when overdrive is operation I may need to switch clean / crunch on or off depending on the sound I wish to return to... but I'd probably have a whole section of the song to do that in.
This pedal has been really really useful, and make things that little bit easier.

Well yes, but he has to switch the "OCD off" Amp State to Dirty when he's doing his Clean->OCD thing and then when he disengages the OCD with one switch we'll go to Dirty channel at the same time.Reece wrote:so if he steps on the OCD switch it switches the amp to the clean channel and if he hits the amp channel switch it takes the OCD out?
clevah.
To do the thing you describe would involve expensive 4DPT switches.
I used genuine bicycle chain links, but you'd need chain splitter in order to prize the links apart... and the cheap ones break quite easily !! Fortunately I used to restore bikes so I had this stuff sitting around going to waste. The only thing I needed to buy was some small screws.
You can now buy official pedal board gubbins for doing this and it seems pretty inexpensive to me...

You would also need to be sure the base of your board is wooden, and your pedals need to have the appropriate screw holes etc. Some only have ones at the top for example, but I have a few tricks for getting around this so I may be able to help. I used an TKL board which was around £40. A Diago board would also work nicely, but shame to start screwing holes into something so fancy.

made a little gig board up again. just plugged the time machine in for fun and got a nice analog kinda sound. still addicted to the SD-1 at the moment, seems to have enough drive to cope with most to the songs we're doing in the band. quite surprised how versatile it is with the songbird.
