everytime i see rancid live (twice last year coincidentally), i can't help but think tim would play better sober, and with his guitar hanging from a more reasonable length.

i dunno about nowadays, but in like 1996-1998? or sometime, he used to fake being drunk (he was sober at that time anyway). that's why they brought in the other guitarist, so tim could act all drunk (with his amp turned super low) and someone would still be playing real stuff. this was at WOW hall in eugene, OR. also, we were hanging out with them and voodoo glowskulls behind the venue before they went on. it was a hot day, so everyone was dressed accordingly. but when it was time to go on, they put on leather jackets and stuff. haha.
