Pics of my guitars in the snow

Post by sonicmansuperb »

It snowed friday and it looked like good weather to shoot some photos of my Bullet strat and cyclone

Why do you make your guitars look shit by sticking crap on them?

Otherwise, cool pics.

change it to a rockstar north sticker, it'd fit much better with the blue.
then take it off and staple it to your head so the lasting scar will remind you to not put stickers on your guitars.

otherwise, nice pics.

I like the inverted mounting of the jackplate on the Bullet. That's actually pretty interesting.

Was that at all necessary? Do you really feel THAT poorly about yourself?
Eat a dick Reese. Then eat another for being a whiny little cuntrag that desperately needs to learn a thing about fucking rock.

Nice guitars, but exposing them to such extreme temperatures might necessitate having them set up again.
Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player, that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more; it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

I love the red tape competition stripes :)

How does the bullet play? I'm always tempted to try one at the local store, but I'm afraid I'll like it and end up buying one 'cause its so cheap (I'm finding it hard to keep the guitar herd small these days)

the bullet in my opinion plays great, but I got one of the unadjustable truss rod ones. Go for the ones from taiwan they seem to have the best necks, and to tell if it's from taiwan, it's serial # will begin with COB

If he's on about the Taiwanese/Chinese "Bullets" from around 1996 then I can at least concur with the fact that the truss rod nut is bloody terrible and cheap. Mine is now threaded but at just the right amount of concave (as per Fender specs) and will definitely need a repair at some point. I don't expect that's what he means though.

No, I'm not. back in 2008 the factory was putting the wrong nut in. This was discovered on the Telecaster Discussion forum when everyone had the craze for bullets

It's not the wrong nut. People are using the wrong hex. 5mm is quite common and most likey not a factory cock up, just cheaper to use. I will say that even when using the right hex it stripped on me. However, that's to do with the quality of the metal and perhaps being a bit too forceful - but I've learnt from that. Using the wrong hex MULTIPLE TIMES ON SEVERAL GUITARS would be plain stoopid.
