really set on getting one, the semi-custom aspect has me sworn off and the samples helped to convert me as well, as well as inspiring me to put my short scale dreams on hold for the time being. i guess i'm wondering if anyone owns one, and how playable they are. i am very comfortable playing teles, though i understand that the scale length is a bit different, and of course the neck-through construction is a big selling point for me. i am just scared of buying one without playing one or hearing it used in the style i play, so any help is appreciated, thanks.

never played one, but i'd imagine it would be nice. i don't like the looks of most carvins, but they seem to feel pretty good
