i elected to ignore the post...Pale Ale wrote:No way the reverse on Alesis microverbs are a million times better than the SPX90 reverse which is actually really weak.Aeon wrote:Sorry to say, but if you are going for the MBV type of reverse sound, nothing really will get it besides the Yamaha SPX90. Believe me, I have tried units by Alesis and most of the pedals with "reverse" settings, but nothing will get that sort of liquid tone. Of course, if you don't care or know what MBV is, ignore this post.
I can't speak for the cathedral, but the digiverb does a pretty good 100% wet reverse sound. You can hear it at the start of this track i made: http://www.zshare.net/audio/7180640607340dab/
Cool, thanks for that. They're pretty cheap in comparison.DanHeron wrote:I can't speak for the cathedral, but the digiverb does a pretty good 100% wet reverse sound. You can hear it at the start of this track i made: http://www.zshare.net/audio/7180640607340dab/
Cool sound, has that got a octave pedal at the start as well? Sounds like the keys sound people go for with POGs.

On the MBV forums someone pointed out that on a picture of Kevin's rack mount gear that there were like 2 Alesis units, but I'm not sure if it's right.
