Not to my taste, I'm afraid. Nameplate looks homemade and the tailpiece is a travesty.

In some ways it looks fantastic and in others it looks wonky. I guess that's improvement on most Aldens which are just wonky all round.

I think it's that there looks to be a lot of space between the pickups and then the bridge and tailpiece are cramped between the bridge pickup and the end of the body. I don't know how the actual ric version avoids that but I'm thinking it's an angled tailpiece to break up the straight lines.

Perhaps it's a 24.75" or 25.5" neck as opposed to the ultra-short scale lengths of proper Rickenbackers?
