I spotted this Jag on Craigslist. Never seen this combination of gold hardware with a Black Jag with a Matching headstock.

Okay, a LOT of people willbashthe gold hardware but on a black jag it looks pure class, especially with the white pickguard.

I thought maybe someone had taken a Jaguar HH and completely refitted it, but the seller says it came from Guitar Center that way. If I ever got a really cheap Jag HH, not a bad idea.

My first thought when looking at the photos was, "Fuck. I hate gold hardware, but it actually looks great here." Definitely agree.

Where can you get gold hardware for a Jaguar or any guitar for that matter?

It isn't a hh jag, those say "special" on the headstock and jag trem wouldn't cover the stoptail holes.

It even has gold pickup claws, but it has the cheap looking MIJ knobs. Such a shame when there's so much attention to detail elsewhere.

I'm not usually a fan of gold hardware, but that does look pretty nice I must admit.

Looks too formal for my taste.
Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player, that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more; it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

I'd do it.
But now I need a car and will have to sell my 'stang and twin reverb. Guitar gear here in Canada costs much more than it does anywhere else, so I'll sell it here. Ha, I sold my ugly Hot Rod Deluxe for $600 to some guy.

I think it looks nice - kind of tastefully understated. The gold isn't overdone.
