JS Project *Crack-Stang Tribute*
I decided to build a second JS, this time out of parts rather than making a body. I got a body that is quite beat up or 'Roadworn' as they say nowadays, i quite like beat up guitars so im gonna keep it this way for now.
This is a big inspiration here and im considering Jag plates at some point...
Picked up a 66 Mustang neck off 'bay which looks really nice, yet see if it plays as well as it looks. Going for a 3-way toggle switch and leaving the sliders redundant for now although some onboard FX may be an option later on.
TOM bridge again too and the tail piece is set to hard tail.
Here's a few pics where im at up to yet..

so i guess the upper jag plate was a shoop? it'd be cool to add later on if you went the way of on-board effects, a tremolo or something like that
Plain white on red looks great too, wouldn't bother with anything else
Do you know if the RI Schaller F tuners will fit this neck? it looks like it has the same tuner holes as my 78 MM neck and it'll be needing tuners soon

I sent your JS control plate to Burbz with his toronado on Tuesday, should be there next week... so go ahead and get that Jag plate from him.
I scuffed the finish and sprayed it with sealer (golden color) to get it ready for a new finish. Just sorta lost interest with the project. I didn't think it through, should of had rear access to my all my onboard fx's adjustable pots & rear battery boxes.
Fran offered to buy it, I told him "no".... he begged, screamed, kicked & cried until I finally sold it to him. Didn't wanna sell it to him, cause he's got so much talent building his own stuff from scratch. He's a huge JS advocate.
