I'm sure you could get 3/4 of the way to the sound that will signify the end of the world with that board

This is relevant to my interests

the memory boy probably doesn't need to be there, although if you whack the blend up full you can approximate the sound of a sperm whale swallowing a threshing machine at 150 fathoms (which is nice).

If I feel my floorboards shaking or spot a mushroom cloud on the horizon... I'll know who to blame

this does basically everything i need.

the "spares".

i usually have at least one of these slotted between the big muff and the marshall reflector on my main board. can't bring myself to sell any of them though. i much prefer to trade pedals.
looks good reece. nice to have a few things on standby if you need different sounds. i keep thinking of getting a DD-3 again, it was a great around delay, plus i could fit it in my boss pedalboard.

well if you have anything particularly interesting you'd like to trade for it, don't hesitate to PM me.

i think the only thing i really want now is a nice lush chorus, then i'll be set.

bugger, i've only got two CE-3's, which are lush but not in the small clone vein. 7th fuzz is needed i think :D

i got one in trade from chisa a while back. then last tuesday, my band's keyboard player gave me a boss pedalboard containing a turbo overdrive and another CE-3.

Image

middle one is chisa's, left one is my keyboard players.

one thing i need to find is a new set of the thin patch cables for the boss board, my venoms won't fit nor the cheap ones i have lying around. doubt george L's will fit either. boss's newer pedalboard have more space in between pedals, so you can use normal patch leads. this older one is very tight, newer boss pedals don't fit as well. my TU-2 keeps moving around, whereas the CE-3 and OD-2 fit nice and stable.

what about those things you can get from maplin, they're basically two jacks joined together, no cable.

like this, but the ones i've got have a bigger bit in the middle:

haha

no, i think i know what you mean. that might be worth a shot, though i'd have to measure the gap in between.
it'll be great if i can, it's quite a nice board for home use/band practice. then i can leave one board in gig readiness and one quick and easy mess around.

edit:was replying whilst you we're editing your post, so my post looses some context.

the ones i've got have a 3cm middle piece (so your pedals would have to be 3cm apart from jack to jack).

edit: seen your edit, gotcha!

put together a little board for facemelttonez. lots of fun to be had in there (not for my neighbours, alas).

i found that EQ pedal in its box in my mate's garage, he had no idea where it came from, said he'd never seen it before in his life.
Fuzz/Delay/TGD is an amazing combo.

i haven't really used it all that much to be honest, it was on my main board for a while but i tended to use the cool cat fuzz more because it has a good bottom end.

with the setup pictured above i can get the dry velcro-ey sounds from the TGD but still get the horrible screams from the FF. best of both worlds. i've been trying to figure out a way of incorporating these into my rig but it'd probably involve a seperate board engaged by a bypass loop or something, and i have too many buttons to step on as it is...

we're off to the studio to do some recording at the end of the week though, i'll definitely be taking these with me.
