of course i had to make the pickup route about twice it's current size in order to fit the sidewinder.
check the fine craftsmanship. this is the type of damage you can do with a chisel and dremel. luckily the pickguard will cover this up.

a mock up to make sure the pickup fits, and to square it up before drilling the holes for the screws that hold it down.

check the clearance... not bad. couldn't find the original screws and these don't quite fit flush but they get the job done.
