Played a bunch of recent Fender/Squiers in TO

Talk about all other types of guitars. Jazzmasters and basses go here!

Since returning to playing just over 13 months ago I've played/tested numerous Fender/Squiers and found one thing, that is that the Indonesian amde are on par with the USA items and far surpass the models made south of the Grand River in mexico. The indonesians have the Mexicans beat by a long shot.

I did the same as you Mike on Saturday and felt the same about the Duo Sonic and the CV tele, but the one that stood out the most for me was the VM tele thinline. The neck was so sweet and the range of sounds coming from it were immense. I am going to wait until the new CV tele custom and thinline are available to test but they are going to have to go some way to beat the Duo and VM tele.

I love these reviews. Mike, when you come to So Cal I want you to review all of our guitars. I'm sorry though but you only have a choice to run it through a Fender Twin Reverb or a Bassman

I've mellowed in my old age, I love Fender amps plenty these days.

I'd also be honoured to play some of the beauties you guys have in your collection. The Guitar Cave Of Wonder!

That garage is ridiculous. So much nice stuff in one place.
