yeah, that's what I was thinking. some people have built fully fledged bios on the wiki.

about the jazzmaster, you just mentioned earlier that you had a jazzmaster and I was like, "really?" didn't remember ever seeing it. are you gonna stealth it out?

I have a feeling I posted in this thread on the first few pages, but I don't see any harm in posting again and I can't be bothered searching through the whole thing.

I got this when I was 10. I'd just started guitar lessons and one day my Dad brought this home. I think it was from Argos and it cost about Â£20. I sold it a few months ago for Â£10.

Tanglewood Rebel 4k Bass
When I was 11 I started my first band with some friends, and we decided I would be the bas player seen as the other two guitarists already had electric guitars. So I went out and bought this with my birthday money. I don't think we actually ever had any practices after I'd bought it. At all the ones we did have I just sat on a chair in the corner playing the basslines on a classical guitar.

Squier Affinity Telecaster
About a year and a half after that I decided that bass wasn't my thing and I'd rather be a guitarist. I was obsessed with the Toy Dolls at the time so I wanted to play a Telecaster like Olga from that band. My parents bought me a Marshall MG10CD to go with it. <3 gain on full.

Squier Jagmaster
I remember going to Leeds with my Dad to buy this, being told they had one at the branch at the opposite side of Leeds, and it turning out they only had the black one. They ordered a sunburst one for me though, so all was right with the world.

Moana Ukulele
A 'surprise' Christmas present from my parents. They could have at least tried not to wrap it so tightly so it wasn't ukulele-shaped...

When I decided I wanted ukulele AND distortion.

SX Acoustic
I was given this for free. It's about 50 times better than the Eleca. I had to get the action lowered quite a lot and it's still a little bit high for my liking, but I don't play acoustic very frequently anyway.

Keifer Superstrat
My girlfriend only ever plays acoustic so I got given this for free. It has a Floyd Rose on it and I got very confused trying to restring (Katie couldn't help because she'd never restrung it), so much so that I somehow managed to take the whole bridge apart and now there's no bridge on the guitar. I'm trying to think of something to put on instead...

2. midnight wine fender fat strat with floyd rose (pieces and sold) MIM - i grew to really hate the floyd rose
3. epiphone '56 goldtop les paul with p90s
4. sunburst and white metallic home built strats (sold) x2 - set my teeth on building these guitars so i learned everything i about guitars from these frankenstrats
5. black epiphone sg-400 (sold) - too thin sounding for me
6. fender classic player jaguar MIM - satisfied my love for offsets
7. fender classic player jazzmaster MIM - used and in bad condition when i got it, set up and fixed with some reissue vintage 62 pickups
8. warmoth artic jaguar (ongoing)
9. warmoth jazzmaster (ongoing)

got some offset fever, gonna have 5 guitars after all is said and done, my 56 goldtop les paul, fender jaguar and fender jazzmaster, warmoth jaguar and jazzmaster
