Found this just now while looking for guitar design inspiration. I can't believe that this has really been overlooked for months, so perhaps I'm reposting, didn't see it on the search. There are three parts to the photo blog about the factory.

Not that I've frequented the Ric forum much (aside from searching for 480/481 info) I've never got the message that he's a prick. Plus he makes the effort to post of his company's forum. Point aside, I'm sort of surprised that most of the factory is cnc based. Makes sense though, technology to make life easier.
I love playing my ric, and I love reading the hateful responses john hall writes on the forums. I met him last year at NAMM, and he was a very nice guy, but you can tell he doesn't take shit from anyone.
