This is a moded fender 1977 music master, my main guitar.

It was black and 100% stock.

I put a hotrail pickup, a bigsby and paint in brown.

And this is my beloved brown angel:

woah... look at that !! Prob not gonna win too many points from the purist camp (esp. as it was stock) but I like that a lot !!

Anymore pics available ??

That's seriously cool. Any close up shots of how the strings go from the bigsby to the saddles? I looks like their might be a lack of string tension and break angle over the bridge. Especially if you're using light gauge strings on a shortscale.
It looks seriously cool, i usually don't like it when people mod a perfectly good shortscale but that looks taaaasty

Bigsby works perfect with strings above the standard bridge, no problem about that.

That looks seriously cool! Love the couch too.
Hotrod - Pretty sure I'll keep it vintage correct. Jag could still get a bigsby since the tele is out

Cheers, glad you like it. This was a 'before' shot I took:

It didn't have any pickups and that blue scratchplate is horrible...

We to aboard jagsonic! Super jealous of that baritone jag of yours. And the hello kitty strat too, I mean ffs it has pink dot inlay!
We have a thread stickied in the "All Other Guitars" forum for anything not 'shortscale'

Two last pics at home whith his "home partner" champion 600 moded, (12AX7A-C high gain TAD, 6L6 Tad (this works fine!!!), oxblood grill for more bright sound, 6'5'' jensen speaker....).

Champion 600 moded + musicmaster with hotrail pickup and bigsby make a good team to work at home and at the studio to record by tracks......

I love that. It's one of the coolest Music Masters I've seen.

It was really nice here yesterday so I took a couple new pics of my 66 Jag(the first ones I've taken of it in natural light).

HI EVERYBODY! UPDATE!

StealthJag/BatJag

Image

Added buzz stop, so the strings stay on the saddles, removed rhythm circuit cause I don't use it, removed the Tone Destroyer circuit cause I don't use it, dropped in a toggle in a Robert Original pickguard.

And the Jag stang went from this:

To This:

Image
Upped the pots to 500k, removed bridge pickup, switches added robert Original pickguard. And Dwarfcraft lion sticker.

Also Glamour Shots of ThunderCats

For those who are not in the know, Robert Original put this together, too. CIJ jag body and Bronco bass neck forced to live in harmony.
High quality, low popularity Ecstatic Fury

+1.

That's one of the only jagstangs that appeals to me aesthetically. And that "ThunderCats" beast looks amazing. I'd love to hear it.

you wanna hear the thundercats? go on youtube and look at the fucking demo noob.
the pickguards are all rushed jobs, my neighbors lives in the make believe time so i can't run any sort of power tool during normal hours.
i actually have the batjag right now, i have been doing little ajustments here and there to try and get it where i want it, but i don't want to get too attached to it yet....
