Red Jazzmaster, brown tort pickguard everytime. I have a Candy Apple Red JM with matching headstock and block inlays with a brown tort pickguard and it looks the business.

That's quite an unusual look for CAR. I think it works quite well. I'd go with black witch hate knobs rather than strat style though.
