Pedal enclosures
Can anyone tell me where I can buy empty pedal enclosures in the UK? Anywhere that does ready painted ones would be good.
Ah, Banzai do painted boxes. They're based in Germany but no hassle with VAT and duty.

They're really excellent. Great customer service and also fantastic with things like LED bezels which people overcharge for elsewhere.
They're my "go-to" place generally for Transistors, ICs, Resistors, Caps, LEDs and Bezels. I use Audiospares in the UK for Neutrik Jacks and I get my 3PDTs from abroad (effectsconnection.com) with DC jacks, although I recently found a source for them over here too.
Guitar specific stuff I go to musikding or banzai for though.

I also like Bitsbox.co.uk - really good prices for capacitors, resistors and ICs and boxes when you need them in a hurry.
Rapid are cheaper for enclosures though, especially if you go for quantities over 20:

ask mike if he could see any 'cosmetic flaws' on the white box I sent him, because it looked fine to me. I guess there might have been the odd mark but nothing that you wouldn't pick up through general use in the first few weeks. I think they just say that to cover their backs because some cork sniffer types will moan about the slightest little mark on something they bought 'new'NickS wrote:Ah, Banzai do painted boxes.
