What do you think of the new(2009) Les Paul Junior?

Just curious.I'd like to try one but.I never see any at the GC near me. They have a different neck joint than the old ones and the cutaway is different to. Just wondering how they compare to the version that Gibson made a few years ago(the regular production model).

Do they sound like this?

His "real" name is Phil Xenidis (wiki) he is a well established studio musician studio in L.A.

But getting back to my original question:Has anyone tried the new Les Paul Juniors that came out last year?

looking at his gear page ( http://www.philx.tv/gear.html ) it looks like they let him borrow some guitars for doing all those demos. most of his stuff is not really nice vintage stuff, so I bet he really is pumped to play these guitars.

i can't help but kinda like phil x.

I love him. He's basically me without any self awareness and with better playing ability.

I think his demos are fantastic, he loves playing guitar. Hooray for joy.

How are the neck joint and cutaway different? Both of those changes could be very good or very bad....

Overall, I think it's GOOD that Gibson has a production model Jr now.

I bought a used one on ebay today. It's a 2009 and like new.It was $627 with a hardshell case and free shipping so I figured I wouldn't get hurt too bad if I don't like it and want to trade it or sell it .
