really nice. i always think you're going to have this proper, dainty voice because you're such a big strong man, but you have a friggin' mazin lumberjack voice like the angel from dogma.Progrockabuse wrote:that's sounds amazing fran. i need that guitar, always had a thing for the 90's danos in that blue colour.Fran wrote:No pics but thought this is just as good. If it is'nt- delete it.

90s U2 model (i think), i got it in a trade. I like it but dont know if i'd gig it, the bridge seems fragile. Its in reasonable condition except one odd machine head which is a Gibson deluxe kluso (plastic button).
really nice playing. and the baby-lung burst is a fancy colour.

I have the same paint job. What year was yours made? i havent removed the neck on mine because i am worried about messing up the setup so i am just trying to approximate the time of when it could have been made.Billy3000 wrote: Ernie Ball MusicMan stingray

sorry I just saw this post today. I bought mine around february 2002, so I assume it was probably made sometime in 2001. I haven't taken the neck off of mine either. It's a great bass! It was basically my only bass for about 4 years, and I played the hell out of it! I bought a p bass in my last band and haven't played the stingray much for the last 2 years. I feel bad about that, I've been thinking about putting some new strings on it again so I can remember how much I liked it!Berto wrote:I have the same paint job. This is a washburn wi14. My girlfriend got it for me maybe 3 or 4 years ago, it's my first electric. It's probably one of the cheapest washburns you could buy at the time, so it was pretty crappy compared to the guitars I have now. Anyways, I totally overhauled it. I sanded the sticky finish off the neck, filed down the sharp ass fret ends, replaced the tuners with black wilkinsons, replaced the pots, jack, switch, and pickups. Those are dream 90's in there right now, which I am absolutely in love with at the moment. This project was a big deal for me because I didn't really know how to do any of the stuff mentioned above, but I just jumped into it. That's the nice thing about having a cheapo guitar around, I didn't have to worry about fucking up anything worth money! It's now a great player.

I got teh Claptonez in my kitchen!
1995 EC Strat. Bought it last week.
Fender Noiseless pickups. TBX-midboost-thing circuit.
V-neck, with aftermarket finish. I like how the tint looks on this one, not as yellow as fender factory tint, more of a "skin" color.
Also got mint Fender case with it.
