EHX small clone

Post by the isaac eaton »

I know we have all probably been over this before, but man I love my small clone. I finally got around to making a demo of it so I figured why not post it on here, Its shot with my flip video so its in HD. i think the flip worked out pretty good for this demo.

Also mike if you are reading this I wanted to know, i am going to make a demo of your fuzz factory but when I do, do you want me to say its a fuzz factory clone? Or try to hide it? don't want mr vex on your ass.

Nice Demo of the Small Clone. I have one and think it's the best sounding chorus out there. I just traded my Boss OD-20 for Hurb's old PolyChorus so it will be interesting to see how it stacks up against the small clone.

the nano clone is notorious for being very noisy and not having the same sound as the normal one, its worth it to just get the normal one.

The Nano clone is not the same. It has no rate knob and gets lots of bad reviews. They need to redo the Nano clone to be exactly like the SMall clone like they did with the Nano Stone.

Lovely demo.

It's the only chorus I like, and I like it a lot.

The Nano Clone is garbage. Can't be daisy chained and an unacceptable amount of background hiss.

Awesome demo, Isaac.

Despite the Small Clone being my first dive into EHX effects sometime around ten years ago, I still love it and may even consider it my favorite. I love it for its simplicity and inability to sound bad at any setting. I mean, Jesus fuck, it's just one switch and one knob, and you can put either of those motherfuckers in any setting and it delivers.

I also love it because I feel like, at one point or another, I've watched every demo I could find of it on YouTube just to see what all of these God damned people are doing with one fucking switch and one fucking knob. I don't think any other effect has me so interested in its flexibility through minimality.

I think it's the best chorus, though I can't ever seem to find use for modulation of any type except when noisemaking.

:?

I have a feeling I'd regret selling it.
