For most of it's 25 or so year long life my amp looked a bit like this....

(i can't find a pic of mine at the moment so that's someone else's amp)


For ages I'd thought about splitting it into a separate cab and head, but never got round to it. Then, about 6 months ago i was walking round a shop with my wife feeling bored while she looked at material. Then I saw some material and decided to buy it and split my amp up. So i did. For about 6 months my amp looked like this.....

Today I stained it so now it looks like this....

I'd get some tolex on that Johnnie. I'd love to blow sunshine up your arse as you done a great job but bare wood just looks 70s diy dude. Tolex is about £10 a M2 on eVilbay. :wink:

first thought that went through my mind too, but i think it looks bloody wonderful. w/o stain is uggz, but you remedied that.
