Curtis Novak sourced some JM robroes and has been doing some really sweet pickups

PAF, WRHB and, my favourite, a Mosrite pickup
he's always doing custom builds too I'm sure he will be doing some cool stuff out of these covers

I'm going to put some of those on the Venus when i've got some cashola. Aswell some better pups.
I wasn't really feeling it until I saw this picture. They don't look that great on Jazzmasters, but they look great on all of those guitars.

Do these effect the sound of the pickups themselves? do they dull the clarity having the pole pieces under that plastic?

i'm wondering if either of the white or black covers would look good on my Jagmaster.. what do you think?

It won't make the slightest bit of difference. Metal covers could, but these definitely won't.

i'm just not feeling the (over)use of the robroe. y'alls wantin to hide your poles. . . be proud of your poles! =]
