the fretboard is way thin.
any one have any idea what the date code 4900 4623 means?

I think its 49=musicmaster/bronco/mustang
00=neck code for rosewood fret board
46=week 46
2=1972
3= day of the week (wednesday)

you can see a tiny patch of red in the neck pocket where oly bronco started life as red bronco !!!
that shit peeled off when i had to yank the neck off....thing did not want to come off at all after i took the bolts out.

That always seems to happen to me when a neck has been on for a good long time. I think about this every time someone brings up the set neck vs bolt on argument.
