Those tuners would be gross regardless of color.

The color of the bass and those pickups are pretty awesome though.

Tis a Precision Bass Elite. Comes from the same line as the beautiful telecaster elite (which I believe someone on the boards owns). Generally pretty cool instruments in a it's so tacky it's cool kind of way that basses get away with.

They just look WRONG to me.
IMHO the first (green trans/single split/gold) would be perfect for a player in a cruise ship band.

Noobs.

That bridge/knobs aren't gold, they're solid brass. Still ugly but at least it has tonal improvements (realizing tone is in fact a subjective thing) over usual chrome/gold hardware. Well the bridge at least.

My buddy had an elite strat...just like this p bass only strat. It was the 2nd worse sounding strat I've ever heard....gawdy.

One of my friends has an elite strat too. It sounds ok, but is ugly as hell. And it also weighs as much as a les paul... it's like it's filled with concrete.
