I think it would look better with just the neck pickup but it's still very nice looking.

I was looking to buy one when I bought my archtop but they're not very easy to come by. They aren't extremley rare, but you have to wait a bit. I guess it's a bit like buying a MIJ B&B Jazzmaster. They're available but you don't expect to stumble across them too often.

I take it it's an Epiphone only model, as opposed to being a Gibson model that they make cheap?
Since I got my Emperor Regent I've had a bit of a fondness for the Epiphone models.

i remember seeing a gold top version a few years back, i think they are a similar construction to my les paul sig, more or less hollow thinline except for a block of wood under the bridge.
