A semi acoustic thread

Post by dezb1 »

I know I’ve posted a pic of this before, but this time it’s of the guitar in full working order (at last), and its got me in a semi acoustic mood so folks post pics of your semis and f holes.

Nice thread idea. This is fully hollow but I think you mean to include it by saying f hole.

Much love for semi hollows (more than solid bodies)

These are my main 3 guitars in the band I'm in now:

Left to right: 1968 Ovation Tornado, 2009 Rickenbacker 330, 1968 Hagstrom Viking II

This is technically Lauren's....I play it all the time though

Past semis that I no longer own. They were all awesome and I regret selling them in a way.

Imagelate 50's harmony stratotone (24" scale IIRC)

Image60's Sekova/Twotone (also shortscale)

Image70's Electra violin bass.

This is the only known photo of the gretsch electromatic that I owned for 3 weeks

It's a Ventura ES-175 copy from probably around the mid 70s. Made in Japan.

Is that a 'dot' without the 'dots'?

One of those with no inlays would be great. I wouldn't buy your one now, though. I know where it's been.
