Ok guys and gals,
I know discussions about the Mastery Bridge have been done before. However I just wanted to post this, as I'm sure it will be of interest to a few. Last year I got another Jazzmaster, and at the time I decided to buy a Mastery Bridge to try out on it. If I liked it I would replace the bridges on my other Jags/Jazzmasters. Without going into too much detail I got it, installed it, and it's great. However I never had much trouble with the stock bridge. This just gives peace of mind when playing live.
Anyway I decided I wanted to order some more. But as yet have not done so. The reason is a minor thing really, but some of my other Jaguars and Jazzmaster have gold hardware. I really wanted the bridge to be gold too. I asked both John Woodland & Mario Costello from Mastery Bridge about this. They said they didn't offer this at the moment, and didn't know if they would? Jags/Jazzmaster with gold hardware are in such a minority that it wouldn't be worth the extra cost. However they also said that they might make a small run of these if they got a sufficient number of people asking. So I guess I am wondering if anyone else would like to get a gold one? Oh by the way I did ask about getting an existing one gold plated. However John told me that he wasn't sure it would take, and even if it did the hard chrome wouldn't be on it anymore thus increasing friction on the saddles.
So anyone else want a gold Mastery Bridge for Jags/Jazzmaster?

Im going to have to quote Mike on this because i agree with him
"Mastery Bridges are for people with more money than sense."
There isn't a whole lot of fans for the mastery here at shortscale, same goes for gold hardware.
Those offset guys rave over this kind of stuff though but i'm sure you've already posted this there as well.
