I believe as potentially customers actually everyone who has commented in the thread has the right to feel trepidation at the fact this person is asking large sums of money for his work, and it seems fairly clear from the 24"/25.5" scale mashup that he might not have all the clues when it comes to the level of service he is claiming to provide.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with anything anyone has said here, including the fact you got offended and asked us "who the fuck are you to judge?"
Well sir, your potentially customer base has every right to judge the quality of goods they may or may not be interested in purchasing - especially when such obvious errors as the aforementioned are being made. You would do better to listen to the criticism and inform your business partner of the shortcomings of his work and business practises rather than simply dimiss them as unworthy.

I don't know much about these guys... Apparently, they take parts from all sorts of guitars and create new ones out of them"

but instead of buying the parts from Allparts he recycles bodies and necks, so you can get
a 300$ guitar instead of 2000$.
I have tried and buy some of is guitars and they feel and sound amazingly great for the price
and the before and after sales service is a notch above
I got a Telecaster 2 pieces Alder body(natural finish), 1 piece maple neck , American standard USA Fender pups,
CTS USA pots and switch for 600$, straight as an arrow and the sound is awesome, same as a Fender for more than half
the price! anyway Fender do not have 2 pieces guitar bodies, they have 3 on the Americans and up to 5
on a MIM.

You seem to be contradicting yourself alot.OpenMind wrote:Oh and motor what ever you should get a they job just in case
You condone some of the citicism in this thread as unwarranted personal attacks and yet, show no shame in taking a particularly low personal blow on me.
At least I'm not trying to sell you my records, eh?
Just to set things straight, I'm in no way implying that recycling instruments is not a good idea. I just think you might want to look at your business model a bit more closely. At the end of the day, a guitar made out of parts from $150 (just an example) guitars is still a $150 dollar guitar, no matter how much 'attention to detail' was put into it's assembly.
One thing you and I agree on is the value of after sale services. Tell me, how did you or your friend respond to our member, oolu, when he came back complaining his guitar didn't intonate?

im not so sure about you accusing fender of using 5 piece bodies on mexi stuff, my alder jazz bass is a 2 peice. ive had a few squire teles that were never more than 3 peice bodies. the most i have ever actually seen was on a washburn strat thing that was every bit of 7 peices.
I did however see a custom shop strat body that got stripped down and the center wood was apparently alder and the wings were mohog.
throwing guitars together for a profit is was everyone does at times, i guess. but the fact that the mentioned guitar is not playable and someone will most likely get it and find major problems with it, well, that sucks.

the point is that guitars are not worth the combined parts in them. If I buy a squire strat and upgrade the pups and guard, it is still only worht the used value for a squire strat. While it does increase their quality if done correctly, it only has a very minimal effect on the the value of it. Also, it is not exaclty some noble deed to recycle instruments. I am assuming that you are buying Tursers and then upgrading the nec and electronics. What are you doing with the old electronics and necks. Either you are tossing them (which is a waste) or you are flipping them on ebay. Either way it is not like some noble job. It is a quic and cheap way to try to rip some people off thinking they are getting a high quality instrument. Instead they are getting a low level instrument with maybe a few upgrades but being charged double the value of the guitar. You are lucky in these type things if you can get the parts costs back, yet alone charge for the labor if you are representing your company correctly and letting people know that the body they are buying (and probably the pus, etc) are crappy chinese or other asian knockoffs that are generally crap. But you put USA pots and stuff in the add hoping to fool someone into thinking it is a usa quality guitar. Not exactly upfront.
Of course, to each their own, but do not be offended when people call you out on it.
