But really, I'm betting around 10,000 like the other limited runs they do. This guitar is iconic enough to all the old nutty collector types, plus they went all out (if they're bothering to tell you how old the pine is they don't wanna hear your jaw drop when they say it costs a second mortgage).
I've always loved that guitar part from the control plate. I'd love to do an Esquire that had that pickguard and headstock shape and then just rear-routed vol and tone knobs.

cool idea, but if there's no truss rod, then it makes no sense to own that guitar.
