Finding it difficult to be creative on my own...

Post by Chicago Mike »

I'm finding it really difficult to be creative without other people around for input. So I figured I'd upload another tune, although this seems different from the other one I uploaded a few days ago. It's either that or I'm completely shitty at playing and writing.

Unemployed and have a lot of time on my hands so I wanted to see if anyone had some feedback on where this is going. I just put some pieces together today so it's got a ways to go but it's a start.

Any feedback welcome.....

thanks for listening and here's a link if the stream doesn't work link to file

Sounds good to me, where else can you go on your own?! I was going to suggest like a minor key section but you eventually did it, reminds me how the Verve structure their acoustic stuff with an added strings. I'd probably go Hetfield on it with a heavy section towards the end.

right on...thanks.

it's the same (or damn near) the same picking pattern as "in the garage" so it definately could use some chugga downstrokes.....as for where i can go on my own, i'm really writing/playing alone for the first time since i started playing, and it's hard without others chiming in i guess.
