Big Muff Russian?

I was just wondering if you can only power it with batteries...and if so, is it much of a hassle? Thanks.

battery operated only, i would recommend getting a 9v [battery] adapter so you aren't buying batteries on end and helping out the planet

1-spot makes a good one

I actually ordered the One Spot combo pack a few days ago (so I should have it soon). How exactly does that work...isn't the battery hatch on the bottom of the Muff? Will I just have to let the cable be crushed under the weight of the muff

The weight shouldn't be significant and the feet of the muff should prevent any badness to the cable.

For years i only used the green big muff. Now it's my most used bassfuzz.

RI Sovtek Muffs don't weigh much. The only problem I've encountered with this DC/9V adapter thing is that it causes my pedal to not sit completely flush on my board (never had any rubber feet on this one). It causes the pedal to kind of wobble.
This could easily be remedied by punching a hole in the side of the enclosure to route the wire trough or simply getting some stick-on rubber feet from the hardware store.
