My Local store just got in this 1979 Gibson ES-347. Pretty cool.To bad the original Bigsby was removed.

They get some cool stuff. That one is $1800 with original case.

Oh damm, I worked on one of those at the shop I work at. My favorite Gibson I've ever played. <3<3<3<3

Ohh, Peter Doherty played this one at a gig in austria a while ago, it sounded great! These gibsons go pretty cheap I think,
they are not so sought after.

One is a coil tap.The other isn't wired,it was added by the former owner but I don't know why.I think the guys at the shop are going to make it into a "kill switch".

Ive always heard that the 70's and 80's Gibsons were awful for some reason. The ones I've played from that era were pretty sweet though.

well the gibsons from that era are very heavy but besides that it's mostly idiots making a big deal about any variation from the original design. even when they're generally agreed on improvements on the faults of the original design. they basically fix the problem of the weak neck joint with a maple neck and volute.

I really want one of those fine tuner tailpieces.
