I just saw one of these behemoths at a pawn shop. 100 watts of tube terror? This is like, the ultimate bassman! That wooly cranky sound with HEADROOM!?!?
I feel like I missed out on somehting magical when i was amp shopping.

A friend of mine has one of these, but it has a burnt out OT from a shorted power tube, so there's likely a shit load of things cooked on it. I'd love to fix it up but it's too much work for what it is.

Yeah, I suppose I didn't mention, when it actually worked it sounded as you would expect, a Silverface Bassman, but FUCKING LOUD.

If I didn't have a million other more important music projects going that need my money right now, I'd love to buy the thing off of him and fix it up. It sounded great.

If I hadn't needed the cashand junkbox hadn't needed an amp, id have never gotten rid of my bassman 100 rig. Shit is looooooooooooooooooud.

Weird but I find the bigger watts are readily available in Australia and the likes of Bassman 10/50watter Bassmans are a bit more scarce.
I've played through a 135'er and yeh... farggen LOWD.
