hello, mustang/jag/other guitars owner here
que pasa, I post as panoramic over on offset guitars. I am sure there is some crossover betwixt the two sites but anyhow I am in some bands and own some guitars. here are a few of them.
over the years I have had way too many too count or make an account of but right now I just have 4, an sg classic, a 74 mustang, an avri jazzmaster and an mij blocks and binding sunburst jag. I used to own a duo sonic II, a 66 and have been looking to get another one.

thanks man
that jag is the #1 live guitar now, it's weird how that works, for years it was the mustang above, then the sg and then the Jag
I haven't ever gigged with the jazzmaster, although it seems I will be soon enough as most of my newer stuff is written and played on that guitar or that jaguar.

here's some pics of it
i should also lay it out there that I care way more about amps than guitars, currently I own a 66 tremolux head, a 65 bandmaster head and a 70's princeton reverb that I run through about 4 cabs I have laying about the house. I just sold a Gretsch 6162 and a tele to finance my latest GAS for a duo sonic, which i located a good specimen of in my price range recently, an old daphne aged to a greeny color.

well when i first got that amp, which i got for a blasted 65 bassman head that looked like it had been on tour for 40 years, i thought it was going to be the best amp I ever had. I also thought it would be my primary recording amp. It isn't though, I use my tremolux through a 1x15 cab for a more defined low end response since I primarily play Jags and jazzmasters on my recordings and a lot of the low end disappears with the PR as the volume is increased. I can pump the tremolux up to about 4 with that cab and get a perfect level of bass/treble mix.
mustang afflicted duo sonic II junkie.
makes sense, it's not a workhorse amp but for playing at home and depending on what you're playing i found it a very charming amp. playing some ventures stuff through it or some garage type stuff, not massive fuzzed out riffage or anything. it's the sort of amp you put in your living room and play some retro stuff when everyone's out.

thanksTweedledee wrote:I love that Mustang! That's a great group of offsets you have.
the pictures don't really do it justice, i have a crappy camera, but in person the wear is much more interesting than it looks here.
I have seen like 3 others of this color/year as played as mine but I liked mine the best.
