Store for good quality 2-way toggle (Canadian)

Post by Ankhanu »

The 3-way toggle switch on my Aerodyne Telecaster is unreliable, and I want to replace it. Thing is, I want a good one that's not gonna crap out on me (fer reals!). Any of you know a good source, preferably in Canada, for a decently priced, good quality switch?? Specific switch brand recommendations also welcome.

i go to flea markets and find old ass 50's electrical equipment. you can get like 10 or 12 switches that way for like 3 bucks.

back in the 50's / 60's they made that kind of shit to last.

Do you have a suggested brand? Don't want one that's gonna crap out like the one that came installed.

Unfortunately, the city I live in has shit for flea markets... all useless, lame crafts and some shitty video games. Well, no, I did manage to get a small electric reed organ once... but that's a rare find.

Allparts will kill you with shipping to Canada (UPS only last I looked, don't do it).
Smallbear or Stewmac.
Or you could take your chances with guitarpartscanada.com , but they have a reputation for being slow and unresponsive. I bought one lot of stuff from them and it took 3 months! Would have been cheaper and faster from the US.
For cheap-ass parts, bezdez on ebay.ca has a good selection, in Canada, good rep, but it's not top shelf stuff.
