An interesting specimen indeed! The ol' Grolsch straplocks, a Mastery bridge, modified switching, and -- what are those pickups?

Welcome, welcome.

They are G&L Soapbar MFD pickups. No rhythm circuit. 250k pots. Mute doesn't work because I butchered it to get on the Mastery. Guitar was a 1999 AVRI.

Everything was looking good until the mastery, then the no rythm circuit, then the busted mute, then the 250k pots... So close!

1 Meg pots with these pickups would sound like asshole.

Rhythm circuit is gone because I like simple switching, and finding a nice setup with these pickups would be a pain, and I don't think that the rhythm circuit would benefit these pickups.

I never use the mute, I'm glad it doesn't work. All its good for is looking cool.

if you dig the mastery bridge all the more to ya, it just wouldn't be worth a non-functioning mute to me.

Welcome aboard. I always fancy a go on those G&L pickups, and that's a grand looking Jag. And I'd rather have a Mastery than a mute any day of the week.

yes? The way they look, kind of like mini/shrunken jazzmaster pickups. Well, they kind of remind me of that anyway.

Yeah, they are kind of like Jazzmaster pickups that are in proportion to the Jaguar's size. Sound nothing like it though. I have a crap recording somewhere....

Nice looking jag, i love the look of those pickups.

I don't get the hate on the mastery bridge, it's overpriced, but if it works... I wouldn't buy one, but that's just because i don't have that kind of money to spend on a bridge, if i had i would. And i think it looks cool.
