I like this logo Kim, but I don't know if people will get that (or if you really care or are worried about that). Not that I do it anymore, but I actually went to school for graphic design and one of the things my teacher always said was that "you have to play to the cheap seats". Can't assume intelligence or the thought that people would look anything beyond a first impression.

With that being said I do like it, and if you don't care if everyone gets it or not, more power to you.

no that was my intention , i'm sick of boringass logos.

the one in my sig says mcs but distraction with the topless chicks boxing. a logo should look cool not 'clear', i leave that to fastfood chains logos.

i understand that visual communication is about, well, communicating something visually... but it also has to reflect the essence of the idea you're attempting to communicate. and if it's a logo for a punk/noise band, playing to the cheap seats is a bit unnecessary. there's a whole subculture of music poster / cover artwork that's designed to be almost completely illegible to the unpracticed eye. depends what it is you're trying to do.

ain't no rules.

that's why i love seripop so much, you can't even read the tracklists on the back covers of records proper but it looks so cool.

Monochrome logos FTW.
