Not only the vista series logo but the newer production models have truss rod access at the head stock and vista series the truss rod adjustment is at the butt of the neck.

My Vista actually has the access at the headstock. I think the early Vistas have it at the ass of the neck, but later models have it at the head?

some dispute that there were two 'runs' of vista's, but there clearly were.

the first ones had body side only truss rod access, whereas the latter had the bullet style truss rod adjustment, and more colors to boot.

So the vista will still have a bullet truss rod adjustment and butt adjustment. Opposed to the new Chinese Jagmaster which will have the newer (non-bullet) style truss rod adjustment on the headstock.

Right. I don't know the two different versions of the newer one. The current production model says it is 24 inch scale but doesn't it have a conversion neck? And the old Jagmasters have a 25.5 scale?

The Jagmaster II were between the Vistas and the current versions and came with 25.5" necks.

I hate the term Jagmaster II. There was never any such guitar. There were two Vista runs and there have been a few Chinese runs.

Actually, Squier themselves referred to the second version as the JAGMASTER II in some advertising at the time.

I'd rather have a Supersonic.
