what the fuck is this, and why shouldn't I buy it?

Talk about all other types of guitars. Jazzmasters and basses go here!

$79 @ guitar center

Neck is fantastic. Feels shortscale, but looks long scale... Can't find any info on this anywhere.

The switches are 3-ways so I assume you can play the phase game. I almost bought it on the spot but figured I'd bring it to you guys first.

Does anyone know anything about this Hondo II Proffesional? Is it worth the price tag? It's a fricken duocaster without me needing to hack up a squier bullet, it must be worth it. I'm guessing it's a clone of the Fender Bullet?

Eff... starting to think I should have bought it just then.

It's a hondo II copy of a fender lead II. Looks fantastic......I didn't even know they made those! Dew it, there's enough Fender Lead fans on here that would probably pay at least that for it if you don't want it

I hope you get it man....although it wouldn't be the first story I've heard like this....a few weeks ago my drummer found a danelectro longhorn bass reissue for $50 at the local GC......the next morning he realized how stupid he was for not snatching it but it was already gone.

That thing is a bit of an oddball though.....I bought an 80s squier MIJ bullet for $100 after it sat on the wall for like 2 1/2 weeks. There may be hope.

Also, another thing, Guitar Center has a really good return policy.....think it's still 30 days money back on new and used for most items (except for microphones, software, harmonicas, etc). You can always get it home and change your mind the next day or in a few weeks or whatever. Most salesmen aren't going to care too much if you return a $80 guitar....it's only about $5 in their pocket at the most.

nope. but i will watch you fall in love with something else tomorrow, then for the next 6 years, flip-flop so much, that it will go right out the door when you do decide to go drop that measly sum. ;)

Oh yeah now I look closer that bridge looks the same as the one in your pic, and the pickguard has a notch for truss rod adjustment.
