sound o.k. ?

Before buying the Behringer acoustic modeller and boring a whole in my acoustic, do you think this would be a pretty good sounding setup ?

Any suggestions ?

If you get one of those Fisman pups, spend the extra and get the humbucker model. I have the single coil and, though it sounds good, it buzzes like crazy.

I don't think you need the preamp booster if you're already getting the acoustic modeler. IDK, I might be wrong here.

Try-before-you-buy with generic PAs. Some are pretty good, others hiss like nobody's business. A lot of the cheaper package deals are barely loud enough to do anything.

Yeah man, I once bought a PA system, and the head wasnt even strong enough to power the speakers properly.

I might have confused you all... the Generic PA just means whatever would be given at open mic night or gig. Sorry I should have clarified.

Also, I own everything above except the acoustic modeller (& the PA obviously)

I was considering the modeller as the booster isn't offering me enough EQ'n & versatility... so I'd use one or the other, or both.

Lastly, The Neo D pickup I bought was the humbucker version.

thanks

What about the Fishman preamps? They're more expensive, but if you're transporting them a lot I think it'd be worth it for the durability.
